 Water from an unexpected source

07.11.19. For many a good reason Muslims mostly feature in the media for all the wrong reasons. The following is perhaps a lesson which exemplifies the old adage, “Never judge a book by its cover.” Australia is gripped by what might be the worst drought in living memory. Such events bring out the best in most of us as we rally together to conquer. The video below says is an example of that and the old adage.

Putting the Federal and State Governments to shame! Why can’t The Army be carting water to the farmers in dire need. We should be treating this like a war with the farmers in the battle of their lives! Literally! By the way what are the Christians doing? Instead of “happy Clapping” they should be in the van! Houston (as in Brian) we have a problem!

And the Army has a vehicle replacement programme underway including a large number of tanker trucks. So they have the old and the new.

And, I have heard nothing more about the federal and state holders of the water and environmental flows?

What makes you think Christians are doing nothing. How many Christians have been involved in the
Burrumbuttock Hay Runners since 2014, we will never know because they are guided by the words of Jesus.
“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
      Bible, Matthew 6:2‭-‬4 NIV

True enough, Phil. Though I must say that it seems there’s pretty much NO “announcing it with trumpets” with this bloke – this is the FIRST I’ve heard of his work.
