Trust is the new order for global partnerships

11.06.21.  Sky News host Peta Credlin says global economic partnership arrangements are “about more than trade” – they are “a signal to the wider world about who matters and who you trust”. “As current chair of the G7, what Boris Johnson is really trying to do here is refashion the old Euro-centric, economics-focused G7, into something that’s global and geopolitically focused,” she said. “He wants it to be the D10 – the ten major democracies: with Britain, the US, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, and Canada joined by Australia, South Korea, and India. “If at some point the G7 can formally segue into the D10, that will be good for our standing in the wider world as well as a key signal to China that the democracies are taking a stand against regional bullying and unfair trade practices.” Ms Credlin said this of course would not come without some awkwardness given China remains our biggest trading partner and also the greatest strategic challenge. “This is where, as the emerging democratic superpower, India has such a big role to play. As a country that understands commerce and respects the rule of law, India could readily meet some of the supply chain challenges that losing China could bring,” she said. “An important task for a prime minister with an increasingly deft grasp of diplomacy will be kickstarting the Australia-India free trade talks.”

Most western countries now are fascist. We included. It’s all about money and control for large multinational companies, not about the small and medium size companies. All of these fascist countries are now attacking the little individual, both human being and companies. The supposed coronavirus “emergency” has shown us the true colours and dictates of our governments.

Agree. It’s no co-incidence that the majority of Big Business has flourished while small traders – independent entrepreneurial people – have been smashed.

Id like to think there is a tangible distinction between the world’s main functioning democracies and totalitarian regimes like China. And in that basis, this suggestion of a D10 to replace the G7 makes a lot of sense to me. We certainly need to be cultivating our trade relationships with India, South Korea, Japan and let me include Taiwan, in an effort to replace our reliance on China to the extent we can’t build up our own domestic industries.

Trust in politics? I don’t think so. Even we don’t trust our pollies so how can they expect foreigners to trust them. They shake hands and smile at one another in feigned friendship but secretly wondering about the “small print”. Look what The USA has done to its own election system. Look how they have divided their population on skin colour and ethnicity. And they’re supposed to be the good guys. At least China and Russia are openly liars and cheats. It’s the Bidens and Bojo’s, both controlled by their partners, we should be wary of.

I wouldn’t trust Biden & Johnson as far as I could throw them. Biden, I don’t expect anything different, but Johnson has turned out to be a Conservative-In-Name- Only (CINO).

Typical CINO, like our LINOs here they say one thing before any election and then renege afterwards.

If Johnson had gone to the previous UK election on his current Green agenda, people would not have voted for him. He knows it, too. But he’s no better than David Cameron with his Globalistic Agenda, and his Climate Change scam continuing

Many Australian loyalist observers are hoping Peta Credlin can quickly take a safe Liberal seat in Xi-jing (formerly Victoria) state politics, move upwards at lightning speed, and as Premier, take back Dan-jing city and Xi-jing state from the Xi-jing public service and state politcal communists before any more destruction of working people’s lives and lifestyles occurs.

I don’t think she ever will, Davey. If many of us on this site no longer trust the Liberal Party, why should she? Remember she had Tony Abbott’s back ( as his Chief of Staff) when he was betrayed and backstabbed by Turnbull and Bishop.

She’s not stupid, far from it.
