The Greens Di Natale

Di Natale—the pious Greens leader?

It never ceases to amaze how most, if not all who enter the ‘noble profession’ do so with the arse out of their trousers but exit as millionaires. In this (apologies, poor quality audio from Australia Patriot Radio) it claims Di Natale forgot that he had bought and still owned land worth $2.3 million when he entered politics and did not declare it. But that’s not all. The audio elaborates further of his financial dealings that made news in 2016 regarding the payment of his domestic help which appeared in The Age in January 2017. The Press Council said: “There was no reasonable basis for the publication to imply the au pairs may have worked a 40-hour week and, on this basis, may have been paid ‘as little as $150 a week after tax’,” the adjudication said. However, at that time:  Di Natale’s office did not respond to The Australian’s request to access the relevant paperwork. In a later statement about his non disclosure of the $2.3 million land holding, 15 months later he said he declared the farm in two different ways from the moment he was elected. What ever that means? Hear the audio.

Hypocrites the lot of them. Why isn’t he being prosceuted by the FWC? If his name was McDonald or 7Eleven he would be. Why are the Unions pursuing him. Sounds like a jack-up to me!

Are you sure it’s this particular hypocrite with the $2.3 million property, and not David Feeney who didn’t declare a $2.3m house and “didn’t know” if it’s negatively geared?
At the time Labor was attacking this hypocrite, he hit back, specifically at Feeney:
“He also attacked Mr Feeney for blaming the “maelstrom of events” for his failure to declare his $2.3 million Northcote property.

“I think he’s got some serious answers to give and so far the explanation he’s given falls well short . . . I can definitely say that I haven’t purchased a $2.3 million property – I reckon I would have remembered that,” he said.

It’s still wrong not to declare the property in question, but maybe it wasn’t worth $2.3m?
