Alan Jones on the High Court activists

13.02.20. Sky News host Alan Jones says Australians are “being told to cop” Tuesday’s High Court decision as the judgement can only be overturned by a referendum or by a future High Court. The High Court on Tuesday handed down a judgement that people who identified as Aboriginal but were not Australian citizens could not be considered ‘aliens’ and therefore cannot be deported. Mr Jones said the High Court “defined a new category person described as a belonger,” which is neither an ‘alien’ nor a citizen. “Scott Morrison must be shaking his head knowing the public won’t cop this,” he said.

Weakness of the government is getting worse & worse. God help us if the country was attacked, the whole lot would roll over in the face a gay army, threats of breach of human rights, offending some minority or other, never mind if it was a Muslim enemy.
Who the hell runs the government, the ruling party or the judiciary, the indigenous minority of 500,000, the Extinction Emergency mob. F….ing bloody gutless. By the way who has stolen the $500,000,000 dollars worth of fire & flood donations. Not a bloody word from the “Government”.
Needs a total clean out & that includes the Socialist opposition!!

    • DT 13/02/2020, 10:55 am

But Graham, The High Court of Australia is not answerable to the Federal Government, they get to appoint replacement judges from time to time but judges often serve for many years.

This happens all too often & nothing is ever done to rectify the shortcomings.
So if the high court decided, on some minor technicality that Morrison should step down…………!?i

An invading army would only have to wait 3-4 weeks for our fuel to run out and then just walk in. No local refining, fuel load for bushfires, coal power stations. I,m sure it,s occurred to the Chinese Communist Party that they only have to wait for a drought and fire bomb widely spread selected areas along with a fuel embargo and we are chow mein.

    • DT 13/02/2020, 10:58 am

On the other hand the US Government has agreed to supply as much oil as Australia needs, the US is now self sufficient and an exporter of oil and gas following the Obama bans being overturned by President Trump.

      • Bushkid 13/02/2020, 11:08 am

True, but that fuel still has to be got here, across a wide ocean, and we’d run out of fuel long before it could reach us.

Yes John the options are endless. A Maori chief could sweep in from Aotearoa in a hand full of war canoes, if he can wait a few years. Nothing in our Navy could stop him as our carefully converted nuclear subs have at huge cost been converted to diesel, but they’re all in dry dock because at the time of conversion to diesel, Australia government had signed up to ban the use of diesel. Our armed forces are preoccupied with planning and security for the next gay mardi gras and our supreme court has unanimously grounded our air force because they were not meeting the attackers with equal force.
Meanwhile our humane rights commission has issued a national warning to armed personal, ie Dads Army and volunteers that the death penalty will now apply to those on our side who cause death while engaged in military action.

When the referendum for Aboriginal recognition in the constitution comes up, this question on aboriginals being special under the immigration should also be added.

    • Pensioner Pete 13/02/2020, 8:22 am

Pg: Perhaps it would be prudent to include the High Court structure within the referendum, including the impartiality of appointments to the High Court, and the continuance of the current High Court judges who do not meet the criteria for impartiality.

Read an article published in Quadrant on a bloke who has been here in detention for 10 years now and they cannot deport him!! Google Plaintiff M47 for it also tells the story. the bloke came in on a Norwegian passport, ripped it up before he got to immigration, and no one seems to be able to deport him for he has been deported from other countries and they won’t have him back.

      • Big Al 13/02/2020, 11:35 am

Bots, it seems straight forward to me: get the Israelis to give him a passport and let MOSSAD ‘process’ him. By now, the USG would have locked him away, deep in the bowels of the earth, but we keep falling over ourselves to help him out.

It’s absolutely extraordinary the time and (our) money being spent on a pr!ck that won’t tell the truth. FFS, Oz is mad.

    • Peter W 13/02/2020, 10:44 am

Well Pg, the referendum is killing itself off extremely fat with these sorts of judgments being pushed through. Can I still be considered as a Scottish citizen after 170 years?

      • Big Al 13/02/2020, 11:45 am

PW, my maternal GGM Wyatt was a Scot too; maybe we’re related?

This HCA decision is just plain mad; f’ing stew-pid, really.

      • Pensioner Pete 13/02/2020, 3:17 pm

Sheesch!! I may be a rellie too, my GM is a McKenzie from the highlands of Scotland. Perhaps I have a castle to claim?

      • DT 14/02/2020, 8:37 am

        Pete, as was published in The Age newspaper written by a business colleague of mine during the Mabo land rights politics … as I recall it;

My family had their lands stolen in 1066 during the period when the battle of Hastings UK took place, I would like to claim title.

It would not be my intention to remove the present owners, I would just like to charge them rent.

How the hell did this country become such a pathetic mess that is rotting from the top down. Politicians, the judiciary and the bureaucracy are an absolute disgrace.

    • Honeybadger 13/02/2020, 9:23 am

As I keep on saying they are working really hard at turning Australia into a sh#thole country.

    • Deano 13/02/2020, 11:38 am

How did we get into such a mess? Well Pauline Hanson gave a bang-on speech yesterday about “Closing the Gap” and why it isn’t working. The chamber almost emptied out – most politicians wanting to show their disapproval that she was even allowed to speak.

      • Mercy 14/02/2020, 6:20 pm

That’s great question, Deano. I believe the West is living in a time of deconstruction, most likely since The Enlightenment, but definitely since the 1960s. The west has been busy redefining many of the pillars of society like sex and marriage, which were largely a given courtesy of its Christian heritage. As this Christian heritage increasingly retreated from the public square and as a reference to inform our educational policies, our laws, science, medicine etc we have seen such horrors as post-modernism wedded to Leftist ideology arise and give birth to gender fluidity and identity politics. And now this. What a mess.

  • Honeybadger 13/02/2020, 9:21 am

Two of those four social engineering High Court judges are due to retire at age 70. One in December and one early in 2021. Time for Scomo to install two proven conservatives and not Labor lookalikes and ensure this appalling, dangerous decision is reversed. Worryingly two of the 4 were appointed by Abbott and one by Turnbull. Go figure.

    • Ivan Ackeroff 13/02/2020, 10:20 am

Abbott might be a good bloke but had/has serious judgement issues (Knighthood for Phil the Greek plus keeping Turncoat in the ministry etc etc). The Turdball appointee would be an obvious Leftard just like the LINO himself.

      • DT 13/02/2020, 11:02 am

It is worrying that people accept media and opposition BS as fact.

Only the Queen can award a Knighthood.

Buckingham Palace (Queen’s staff) requested nominations for Prince Phillip to receive a Knighthood for services to the Commonwealth of Nations, Australia being one of the Commonwealth Nations.

PM Abbott agreed that the Australian Federal Government would be a nominee, but the PM was unable to defend the position because of protocol, request in confidence, even the Prince was unaware of it.

Appointments to the High Court of Australia are Cabinet decisions and advice taken from various sources. In other words they vote in Cabinet. A PM might make his recommendation to Cabinet but that is not the end of the decision.

And what people also don’t get, and it still applies now, a PM elected to the leadership by a slim margin and who has political opponents inside the Cabinet is handicapped.

Mansion and his Black Hand Faction members were always leaking against PM Abbott anonymously to media, meaning never allowing their name to be used as the source.

In agreement with this factual and well informed comment.

Part of the problem with politics in this Country is that people just do not inform themselves well, if at all. So we get appalling rubbish.

      • Disgruntled 13/02/2020, 2:00 pm

Ivan, I do have to agree with your sentiments!!
And, hey some of these silly people do really need thinning out. If able, Lee would be a fine thinner-out.
And I do not at all trust Scomo’s judgement re. new appointments, instance his very great approval and support of Ken Wyatt, surely one of the most dangerous {for the future of Australia} politicians we have had to contend with.

Pauline Hanson really does have it right and as she is the only person to try to air the serious problems is almost unbelievable. Shame on the rest and more shame on those who would want to silence her. Anybody that has lived for a while in a mixed community knows only too well how right she is. The real decent Elders also are having problems trying to cope with what is commonly called the “aboriginal industry”. There are far too many leeches sucking up the money without any real benefit to the people really in need!!

  • Peter W 13/02/2020, 10:41 am

Utter garbage. We are becoming a nation for bastardising the English language to suit “agendas”.

Words that have lost their meaning:

    ……….no doubt there’s more.

……time to leave the planet morons and go to Mars, or should that be Venus?

    • Biking Voter 13/02/2020, 10:55 am

Depends if your a bloke or a sheila, I remember the book “Blokes are from Mars and sheilas are from Venus.”

That should stop all that misogynist and misandrist behaviour.

      • DT 13/02/2020, 11:07 am

Yet you would think that Venus and Penis would go together?

    • Neville 13/02/2020, 5:30 pm

      .. ya forgot ‘gay’, PW.
