Trump refused to sign a joint statement with the other G-7 leaders Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
We shouldn’t shed any tears because a G-7 Summit ended in failure or that Trump didn’t sign the communique. Nobody of any sense would.
You have to know what the G-7 is, after all, you know what Trump is.
The Group of Seven (G-7) is an informal bloc of industrialised democracies that meets annually to ‘discuss’ issues such as global economic governance, international security, and energy policy.
Global economic governance? International security? Energy policy?
In other words, they are a bloody cartel. A Green cartel, a syndicate, a mob, a plunderbund.
Let’s look at some of the government-knows-best language in the Communique starting with the class warfare bullshit tax policies they always begin with.
[We] support international efforts to deliver fair, progressive, effective and efficient tax systems (translated – raise taxes and soak the rich). We will continue to fight tax evasion and avoidance by promoting the global implementation of international standards and addressing base erosion and profit shifting.
Tax avoidance is what you do when you read the tax acts and set up your company or yourself to pay exactly what the tax laws allow. These masters of our destinies think we should arrange our business so as to pay the maximum tax, anyone who doesn’t is avoiding tax.
International standards is their way of stating that low-tax jurisdictions (like Trump’s vision for the US) should have to surrender their fiscal sovereignty and agree to help enforce the bad tax laws of uncompetitive nations (such as G-7 countries).
The G-7 communique also endorsed the way forward for everyone to happiness is view to give even more foreign aid and raise taxes at home to send to the ‘developing world’. Developing world refers mostly to shithouse dicator-run countries.
Public finance, including official development assistance and domestic resource mobilization, is necessary to work towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
“Sustainable development” essentially means muck and mysticism in agriculture. No fertilisers. Spotty peaches, tiddly size strawberries, twisted cucumbers.
The 2030 Agenda is the UN 2030 agenda- a woolly, vague, undefined, world government under oh-so-wonderful targets of No Poverty, Zero Hunger,Good Health and Well-Being for People, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Etc.. It is the entire reason for the global warming scam and runs in conjunction with it.
The communique recycled the myth of a big gender wage gap, even though even everyone even including the female head of Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers admitted the wage gap numbers are nonsense. They are fighting a war that was over years ago with the ‘equal pay’ movement.
AND they forgot that closing the gender wage gap is already in #5 spot in the Sustainable Agenda plan. So they put it in twice by mistake.
Our path forward will promote women’s full economic participation through working to reduce the gender wage gap.
But get this next bit! A threat that the hypocritical ideologues at the United Nations should have power over the global economy. And as if that isn’t enough they wanted a deep green policy with full on green-energy bullshit. It is as though the communique was actually designed for Trump to refuse. He walked out of the Paris Agreement – this codswallop would have brought him back in.
We reaffirm the commitment that we have made to our citizens to reduce air and water pollution and our greenhouse gas emissions to reach a global carbon-neutral economy over the course of the second half of the century. We welcome the adoption by the UN General Assembly of a resolution titled “Towards a Global Pact for the Environment” and look forward to the presentation of a report by the Secretary-General in the next General Assembly.
Carbon neutral economy?? The UN plan? Turnbull’s lunatic pursuit that is driving up our power bills??
What’s this “Global Pact for the Environment??”
By September 2018, the Secretary-General of the UN must draw up a technical and ‘evidence-based’ report to identify and evaluate any gaps in the international environmental laws and environmental instruments. In other words every nation on earth should have the same environmental laws and environmental departments – carbon taxes, windmills and solar panels, no dams. It means that local councils will insist on home building rules.*
Did they really think that Trump can’t read? The G7 envisages a world of red tape. It was set up as a counter-measure to the EU.
Since these ridiculous G’s began, there has been no growth incentives – it’s all about getting the UN to set up a global economy. A universal EU with a huge bureaucracy.
So why spend lots of money just so a bunch of politicians can have an annual publicity photo? And why give their retinues of hangers-on, grifters, hacks, and bureaucrats a taxpayer-financed annual vacation?
If Trump’s ‘protectionism’ – as it is pilloried as – leads to the disintegration of annual G-7 schmooze-fests, it will be no bad thing. If it leads to the destruction of the EU and the dismantling of the G7 I will die happy.
No wonder Trump wanted Putin to join G7. He was in it until he took over in Crimea. These two together would have the little men and women of the G7 afraid to open their mouths.
And no wonder they want to keep Putin out. Low taxes? Mein Gott!
If Trump had not walked out we would never have heard of this monstrosity. Here is part of the wording
Article 3, paragraph 1, and Article 4
Current preliminary draft of this Global Pact:
“People shall integrate the requirements of environmental protection into the planning and implementation of their policies and national and international activities, especially in order to promote the fight against climate change, the protection of oceans and the maintenance of biodiversity”; “Intergenerational equity shall guide decisions that may have an impact on the environment. Present generations shall ensure that their decisions and actions do not compromise the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
This is not a joke. This is the sort of bilge that will be presented to Australia.
