Morningmailers # 16

Our Year End Break—Dec. 22 to January 30.

Unlike many blog operators, we enjoy and appreciate having such well informed, articulate and courteous commenters on Morning Mail. Therefore, so you don’t slip into withdrawal without your daily dose of MM in the coming weeks we propose the following:

Use this forum to post and discuss your choice of topics. We trust you will bear in mind the laws of defamation, etc and save us from jail. We also appreciate how diligently you round up on trolls—like a kelpie rounding geese.

For readability it’s easier for all if you keep your penmanship to pieces shorter than War and Peace.

We suggest a subject heading, a short paragraph on both the story and your comment on same, just like we do—then a link to the original story if applicable. That will reduce the “scroll down” space.

Editor Chaucer will from time-to-time post thrilling accounts of past experiences either true or false.

In closing this year we sincerely thank you for your addiction to our efforts to bring you news of interest with a spoonful of sugary humour and or the requisite ridicule so deserving of political fools of the day.

Yet another year has elapsed. Unbelievable! So much has occurred and faithfully recorded/published. Thank you MM and all MM contributors. Thanks to for keeping me reliably informed. More than I can say for a majority of Australians.

  • Robert TG 23/12/2017, 6:51 am

Thank you for a year of great reading.

  • Sandra Smith 23/12/2017, 6:54 am

Happy Christmas. Enjoy your break, we will experience withdrawal. We will survive. When will you be back?

  • Joe Blogs 23/12/2017, 7:10 am

Thank you, Ed, Ed, all your staff, and MM contributors, for informative and enjoyable reading, discourse and of course intercourse throughout 2017.

  • Peter Sandery 23/12/2017, 7:14 am

Thanks for your herculean efforts in helping all of us to counter the Long March of Leftist Marxism that is racing through our society. Merry Christmas

  • Don 23/12/2017, 7:14 am

    All the best for Christmas
I will enjoy the break from the anti Turnbull daily onslaught

    • Wallace 23/12/2017, 7:23 am

Not so fast Don old chap, MM has given us the opportunity to post as we choose. I doubt Turnbull will slip into obscurity all that easy. On the other hand, Don, that also gives you licence to praise the fool. Considering the way in which the MM family set upon you I look forward to such entertainment. Merry Christmas to you and yours Don.

    • Aktosplatz 23/12/2017, 11:13 am

You can make that permanent, Don, if it bothers you.

    • Joe Blogs 23/12/2017, 11:56 am

There’ll be no break from the “anti-Trumble daily onslaught”, Don, except from the editors. The rest of us aren’t going anywhere.

Now, for the fourth time, what has Alexander achieved in politics?

  • luk1955 23/12/2017, 7:19 am

    Merry Christmas guys.

  • Greg 23/12/2017, 7:26 am

Happy Christmas guys – and remember, always use the word “Christmas”.

  • Lorraine 23/12/2017, 7:56 am

    Merry Christmas to all

  • Peter Beach 23/12/2017, 8:10 am

  • TommyGun 23/12/2017, 8:14 am

I hope the Editorial team and all contributors manage to get away from their computers for a while to enjoy the great outdoors over Christmas in the greatest country on earth!

I look forward to more Turnbull-baiting in 2018 until (mercifully) he is gone!

Thanks MM for some GREAT reading during 2017.

  • nev 23/12/2017, 8:15 am

Best wishes for the crew at MM over the Festive Season. And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the many erudite, articulate and sagacious readers and commenters. The world changed much in 2017 and it looks like 2018 will bring much more change. It seems we live in “interesting times”.

  • Botswana O'Hooligan 23/12/2017, 8:24 am

Merry Christmas, you are a beaut mob so take care.

  • Aktosplatz 23/12/2017, 8:32 am

Thank you MM for a job very well done this year – have a good well deserved break, and my best wishes for a Happy Christmas and New Year.

Thanks to magnificent posts ( many hilarious)from very talented bloggers.

  • Ibbit 23/12/2017, 8:55 am

As is not unusual, my comment has been posted on the wrong thread. I, and my friends, who are aware of MM and read it, thank you for keeping us sane with your diligent, political ridicule when all seems black and lost. If Chaucer sees fit to publish an article or two in his inimitable style, that will be something to watch out for. Have a happy, restful break over the next weeks.

  • DB8tr 23/12/2017, 9:15 am

Thank you to everyone at MM and to all the other contributors! Merry Christmas to all and have a happy New Years celebration! Cheers…

    What they all said.
    Cheers!

  • Pensioner Pete 23/12/2017, 9:17 am

I wish a Merry Christmas and a substantially better New Year to all. Best regards, PP

  • Rubyred 23/12/2017, 9:18 am

Morning Mail – you have made my year as you are my first port of call each morning.
I also send out Daily posts many of which include yours and I hope my friends have taken to commenting with you.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as well as your many admirers. I guess, like me, you will be taking a sneak peak each morning at the daily news and saving up the various articles until you return. You will just have to resist the temptation to send out a few missiles. I also want to wish all of your readers and bloggers the very best of the Christmas break and the New Year and hope that the coming year will see conservative thinking coming back into fashion and see western countries become great again. We are not going to take it any more.

  • Crankykoala 23/12/2017, 9:30 am

Many thanks to the crew at MM for all their informative and enlightening articles and thank you to all the wise commenters who make up the MM family. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous New Year.

  • Bushkid 23/12/2017, 9:50 am

HUGE thanks to the MM team for another year of great comment, sharing of stories and raising of topics. You provide an invaluable service to us, the ordinary folks who do still know how to think for ourselves.

Thanks to all the commenters, for all the thoughts expressed whether we all agree with them or not – that’s what free speech is about after all.

Have a safe and enjoyable Christmas, and a well-celebrated New Year, and return ready to once again stick it to the idiots who think they’re our betters.

    • Joe Blogs 23/12/2017, 11:11 am

Idiots like this publicly paid poofter, Kid?
      http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-11-22/canberra-now-home-to-rainbow-roundabout-to-mark-ssm-yes-vote/9181248

Now he wants rainbow number plates for the ACT; has banned greyhound racing (probably replace it with leapfrog); and has banned the SummerNats parade down the main, um, drag.

      • Zoltan 23/12/2017, 1:05 pm

        Isn’t that gaily painted?

      • Bushkid 23/12/2017, 2:42 pm

I really do hope that the madness will one day end, Bloggs. I’m not holding my breath though. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours. 🙂

      • Joe Blogs 23/12/2017, 9:38 pm

Thank you, Kid. Reciprocal greetings to you.

      • Neville 23/12/2017, 9:40 pm

From that picture, perhaps we could somehow persuade the protagonists to congregate (for a SSM rally, of course) at the centre of that nice vivid target?

  • Biking Voter 23/12/2017, 11:10 am

Merry Christmas to all the staff at MM and to those people that make an effort to post their thoughts on MM, without whom there would be no MM.

Thank you editors, contributors, commentators and everyone else for an interesting and informative year. I am looking forward to next years daily read with anticipation.
In the mean time, have a well deserved break. Relax, put your feet up for a well deserved rest, drink a fine McLaren Vale Shiraz, with your favourite steak on the BBQ with friends, ready to return to the good fight next year.
Merry Christmas to all, and a happy and prosperous New Year.

  • Bwana Neusi 23/12/2017, 12:25 pm

Merry Christmas One and All (including Don our resident troll).
May 2018 bring peace and prosperity to each of you.

  • Karen 23/12/2017, 1:30 pm

This is my favourite blog for the articles as well the comments which are sometimes real giggle factor, so thank you all and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everybody.

  • geoffrey 23/12/2017, 2:38 pm

yes, I agree with all those sentiments!

  • Bushkid 23/12/2017, 2:49 pm

It was interesting on a very recent trip down through the inland roads of Queensland and NSW, to see so many front gates and mailboxes decorated for Christmas. The most common decoration at the front gates of properties was a pile of tyres, from largest at the bottom upwards to smallest at the top, all painted pine-tree-green, and wrapped with tinsel and baubles and with a star on top. So many utes and 4WDs had tinsel wrapped around the bull-bars. So many of the little (and not so little) inland towns were decked out in festive Christmas decorations, and everyone was happy to say those 2 “naughty” non-PC words – “Merry Christmas”.

It was a delight and so refreshing and restorative to the spirit that has become so used to hearing the oppressive negativity about Christmas and Christianity, and the PC finger-wagging about actually daring to celebrate what has always been traditional here – CHRISTMAS.

So, a very Merry Christmas to MM and all who sail in her, and a very Happy New year.

    • Botswana O'Hooligan 25/12/2017, 11:46 am

BK, even in the suburbs of Brissie the Christmas spirit is evident and yesterday the bloke who just about knocked me down on my morning toddle when crossing a pedestrian crossing waved gaily, and one supposes the wave was a Christmas greeting if one used ones imagination for long enough and hard enough.

  • Maryanne 23/12/2017, 7:58 pm

    Wot everybody else has said.

Isn’t it refreshing to be among non-PC people.

  • Albert 23/12/2017, 9:04 pm

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all here at MM. Thanks to those behind the scenes for a sterling job and hopefully we will all be back here next year.

  • Neville 23/12/2017, 9:45 pm

A very Merry Christmas to all, and to MM (and even to you, Don).
May next year give strength to our arms in the fight against the great greeny-lefty glob of gelatinous goo still trying to push it’s long Gramsciian march through our institutions.

    • Joe Blogs 24/12/2017, 8:05 am

Don. Gave up on Don, the Droll Troll, so looked up Alexander.

JA’s organised a charity run and some tennis tournaments, and chaired umpteen committees that produced reports, but apparently not much else.

The daily commute must be a drag from his pad in North Bondi to his electorate on the other side of the bluddy Harbour!

    • Neville 24/12/2017, 2:47 pm

Yeah, I’ve noticed since the by-election was announced that there appears to be precious little that can be called successes or good solid policy attributed to JA. Means, I guess, that he’s a chair-filling Turdball supporter!

      • Joe Blogs 24/12/2017, 6:49 pm

How about the way JA hovers over Trumble’s shoulder like a fawning, supplicant child, hanging on The Great Communicator’s every word?

  • Honeybadger 24/12/2017, 8:18 am

Grateful thanks to the editors and Chaucer for providing nuggets of sanity each morning. My Christmas toast will be to, long may it continue, to remind me there other like minded people out there. Merry Christmas to one and all.

  • Bazza 24/12/2017, 11:32 am

Happy Christmas and thank you for the blogg which I read very morning on the train to work.

  • Clarion Call 24/12/2017, 8:49 pm

A very happy and spiritual Xmas to all and sundry MM readers and contributors, more particularly if you just happen to be born white. PC aside, we are now under unrelenting attack from the vile left in western society following on from the same savage strategy used to crush Christianity and its followers. I personally live for the day when the great fightback begins and this Marxist crusade against ‘white privilige, ‘white supremacy’ and associated racial subversion is repelled front on. Otherwise celebrating Xmas as we know it might just become a jailable offence in the not-too-distant future.

  • Gregoryno6 25/12/2017, 12:44 pm

    Merry Christmas to all.
Take heart – the tide of PCBS is beginning to turn.
Here and there the first rumblings of rebellion can be heard.
Recent studies have shown that generation-z is going to be one of the most conservative right-wing leaning generations of our time…

    • Joe Blogs 25/12/2017, 2:24 pm

      Interesting. Thanks, Greg.

Putting aside their PC crap and assessing demeanour, speech and writing, how could the teacher and counsellor be of any use to any kid at their school/s?

Then, considering the kids’ collective world-view, it’s clear that they’re more erudite than the aforementioned pair of numbskulls.

  • Gregoryno6 25/12/2017, 2:31 pm

Joe, the line that said it all for me was in the screencapped FB post. The teacher laments: ‘They literally cannot control their right-wing beliefs, they talk about it everywhere.’
Poor Put-upon Teach evidently equates talking with other activities. Such as, oh, I don’t know… trashing property. Assault. Denying others the freedom to air their views. That sort of thing.
    Did somebody say ‘projection’?

    • Joe Blogs 25/12/2017, 5:14 pm

Yes, mate. The woman’s unfit to associate with kids.

  • TommyGun 25/12/2017, 4:03 pm

    Merry Christmas, Everyone!
    Unfortunately, judging by this story:

    https://www.rt.com/news/414131-germany-terrorist-cases-skyrocket/

it is unlikely to be in Germany, where terrorist acts are on the rise. If we don’t keep this scum out, the same fate awaits us. Oh, BTW, this article is on RT.com, which is a Russian site that airs articles that are not always “PC”, shall we say. I recommend it!

President Trump said ‘The calm before the storm”.
On December 21st 2017 President Trump made an executive order which has huge ramifications…An excerpt is below
“I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, find that the prevalence and severity of human rights abuse and corruption that have their source, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States, such as those committed or directed by persons listed in the Annex to this order, have reached such scope and gravity that they threaten the stability of international political and economic systems. Human rights abuse and corruption undermine the values that form an essential foundation of stable, secure, and functioning societies; have devastating impacts on individuals; weaken democratic institutions; degrade the rule of law; perpetuate violent conflicts; facilitate the activities of dangerous persons; and undermine economic markets. The United States seeks to impose tangible and significant consequences on those who commit serious human rights abuse or engage in corruption, as well as to protect the financial system of the United States from abuse by these same persons.’

Donald Trump was approached some time ago by some members of the military to alert him to the serious consequences of a Hillary Clinton Presidency. The world was at a critical tipping point of a struggle between good versus evil. This is not a political fight of Left versus Right.
There has been corruption, pedophilia, child sex trafficking, arms trafficking and a lot more on a scale never before seen in the world.

The aim of this group of people, the Cabal, the Deep State is to dominate the world population for the benefit of a few.

Operation Mockingbird was set up by the CIA to control the information printed in the media.
The term ‘conspiracy theory ‘ was coined by the CIA after the JFK assassination to shut down any narrative other than the lone gunman version of events.

The political control, the media control and control of world banking has been happening for quite some time. There are a lot of corrupt politicians and CEOs.
Add to this another layer which is evil. These people have been involved in devil/satan worship, pedophilia and much worse.
This is all about to be revealed to the citizens of the US via an education programme.
A lot of people are being arrested this week. Some people are trying to flee. The ANA flight from LAX to Tokyo yesterday was turned back 4 hours into the flight to retrieve four high value people of interest. Power outages are occurring, airports have been in lock down.
In other words ‘The Storm is upon Us”
There are over 4,500 sealed indictments which will be revealed soon. A lot of people have committed treason, espionage , murder and a lot more.

Steve Motley is a retired marine who has been enlisted to help explain all this via youtube to the people f the USA in a more palatable manner. He talks about taking the ‘Red Pill’ the awakening as referred to in the Matrix. Steve Motley recommends other ‘citizen journalists’ (as MSM can no longer be trusted to report the news) who discuss what has been happening.

I put a link up earlier from Q. Q is a high level, Department of Energy security clearance.
This latest link contains a bit more information/explanation.

Holy crap! The Trumpster certainly didn’t give me a heads up about this . Not even an email. Might just give Hillary a call….she’s sure to know something rotten to the core. Time to take a pill of some sorts and pull the sheets over my head.

Holy Motley! Don’t tell us that somebody in the USA’s high places is really doing something remotely like proper justice against members of the ruling elite. I’ll see it when I believe it! Never gunner happen.
