What interests me? The current parlous state of our nation.

Our economy is weak and being further weakened (destroyed) by government policy that’s making manufacturing and even ordinary services and business prohibitively difficult and expensive. The disciples of the great CAGW con appear determined to ignore all evidence to the contrary, and equally determined to ruin our economy. One has to wonder why.

Australia is currently unbelievably politically weak. From a lack of any real leadership to a parliament and senate full members who we have no idea if they’re actually legally and constitutionally fit to be there. That SSM has taken precedence over all other legislation is a demonstration of the utter shallowness of what passes for government. We have open and obvious influence in the form of payoffs and backhanders to MPs and senators from foreign governments that have only hostile intent. We have outfits like GetUp funded by the likes of Shorten, unions and Soros actively interfering in the political process – yet nothing is done to stop or prevent it.

We are militarily weak, and being further weakened by both personnel policy and procurement policy. Our soldiers are being told they’re too “aggressive” (FFS, what are we supposed to fight with – nasty words????), that it’s OK for boys to be girls, that they have to embrace a culture and ideology totally foreign to our own. When we need submarines that will be effective now, and long into the future, we get a a$50billion sop to the mincing poodle of SA to deliver something that doesn’t even exist yet, at some nebulous time a couple of decades into the future – maybe.

We’re a sitting duck of a country, and nobody in a position to reverse the situation appears to be the slightest bit interested in doing so. In fact, all seem to be determined to make it much worse.

I agree with your summary Bushkid but would add that there are a very few good people in our Federal Parliament but the nature and ego of our PM will suppress the ability of anyone who might challenge him instead of making him look good. Amounts to the same difference as you point out as all seem to lack a modicum of get up and go on behalf of the people of the Nation.
We need a curtailment of immigration and a Population policy.
We need some teeth put back into policing and the judiciary – witness last night’s disgusting behaviour in Melbourne because a conservative was to give a talk.
We need to reintroduce freedom of speech and we need to get rid of the Human Rights Commission.
The unions need to be controlled or productivity and manufacturing will disappear altogether.
We need the size and reach of Federal Government severely cut.
I could go on, but am probably echoing much of what you said.

In 2013 we elected a lame duck Govt who could not get anything through Senate unless it was GreenLeft compliant.
Then in 2016 we shot the duck in the other foot. All our own work. Collectively we are too prone to believe “climate change” agitprop and the need to cut carbon emissions to the extent that our Govts are wrecking our electricity grid. It seems amazing but that is happening.

    Topics that interest me;
Constructive ways to remove left thinking politicians & public servants from government.

The fight against Islam and by logical extension the fight against the globalist UN.

Solve the above and we will have nothing to worry about.

always an interest in politics and sport especially the Australian Cricket team.
hate the left side of politics and Global UN crap. The Global warming scare campaign invented by the left to scare all to death so they can control idiots , that is another interest. I am so Sick of SSM totally over the left and their other way to control by making freaks out of the younger generation before they reach puberty

I love watching the Milos, Andrew Bolts, Piers Ackerman, Rowan Dean, Ross Cameron, Mark Latham and sometimes Paul Murray, shoot down in flames with facts and logic, all the promoters of SSM, islam, man made climate change, ‘safe’ schools, the belittlers of Western culture, third world bludgers and so on, the list is long, Hope one day facts and logic might come back into fashion!

    Hi Editor,

One thing I would love to see would be a summary of the day’s news headlines on a sidebar (minus the fake news and fluff). It would save me having to go to MSM sites like bigpond for an overview. While the articles on MM are good, they are in specific areas and don’t give me a picture of the rest of the world.

Immigration and a Population Policy. The one should be cut until infrastructure, the economy and jobs catch up. The other should be instigated in order that Australians know where our politicians plan to take us.

  • TommyGun 05/12/2017, 9:02 am

    Immigration and population policy.
Politicians are shit-scared of the likes of Dick Smith because he is against unfettered immigration, which is a milksop to the big $$$ donors of both main parties.
The whole idea of a “Big Australia” no doubt came from someone with a small mind and empty pockets.

    • Robert TG 11/12/2017, 11:11 pm

I enjoy reading about Trump and all the victories he has over the left.

This is a very good article in Gateway Pundit. The article explains what has been going on in USA politics for some time…corruption by Deep State

This one will only make sense to those who have read ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ by John Bunyan.

I have changed the names of my MSM Bookmarks and I have found that the Pilgrim’s Progress Names are much more suitable.

For example, Brisbane Times = “Vanity Fair Times”, and Sydney Morning Herald = “Slough of Despond News.”

The result is good because now all of the sloppy negative MSM News fits their new allocated Bookmarks ( perfectly).

A friend in Melbourne sent me a copy of a brochure received this week from a company working with the Vic government. This is what the de-industrialising socialists most fear this summer – massive power outages on the East coast potentially awakening millions to the con of a system running on sunbeams, batteries and windpuffs.
“Your household is invited to participate in a trial aimed to test news ways to reduce the pressure on your local energy network during high demand periods this summer.”
Will we have enlightening blackouts this summer? I will be voting with my switch-flicking finger.

What is it with the fools that want us to switch off during period of peak useage to prove how effective their pathetic renewable power toys are?
