What interests me? The current parlous state of our nation.

Our economy is weak and being further weakened (destroyed) by government policy that’s making manufacturing and even ordinary services and business prohibitively difficult and expensive. The disciples of the great CAGW con appear determined to ignore all evidence to the contrary, and equally determined to ruin our economy. One has to wonder why.

Australia is currently unbelievably politically weak. From a lack of any real leadership to a parliament and senate full members who we have no idea if they’re actually legally and constitutionally fit to be there. That SSM has taken precedence over all other legislation is a demonstration of the utter shallowness of what passes for government. We have open and obvious influence in the form of payoffs and backhanders to MPs and senators from foreign governments that have only hostile intent. We have outfits like GetUp funded by the likes of Shorten, unions and Soros actively interfering in the political process – yet nothing is done to stop or prevent it.

We are militarily weak, and being further weakened by both personnel policy and procurement policy. Our soldiers are being told they’re too “aggressive” (FFS, what are we supposed to fight with – nasty words????), that it’s OK for boys to be girls, that they have to embrace a culture and ideology totally foreign to our own. When we need submarines that will be effective now, and long into the future, we get a a$50billion sop to the mincing poodle of SA to deliver something that doesn’t even exist yet, at some nebulous time a couple of decades into the future – maybe.

We’re a sitting duck of a country, and nobody in a position to reverse the situation appears to be the slightest bit interested in doing so. In fact, all seem to be determined to make it much worse.

I agree with your summary Bushkid but would add that there are a very few good people in our Federal Parliament but the nature and ego of our PM will suppress the ability of anyone who might challenge him instead of making him look good. Amounts to the same difference as you point out as all seem to lack a modicum of get up and go on behalf of the people of the Nation.
We need a curtailment of immigration and a Population policy.
We need some teeth put back into policing and the judiciary – witness last night’s disgusting behaviour in Melbourne because a conservative was to give a talk.
We need to reintroduce freedom of speech and we need to get rid of the Human Rights Commission.
The unions need to be controlled or productivity and manufacturing will disappear altogether.
We need the size and reach of Federal Government severely cut.
I could go on, but am probably echoing much of what you said.

In 2013 we elected a lame duck Govt who could not get anything through Senate unless it was GreenLeft compliant.
Then in 2016 we shot the duck in the other foot. All our own work. Collectively we are too prone to believe “climate change” agitprop and the need to cut carbon emissions to the extent that our Govts are wrecking our electricity grid. It seems amazing but that is happening.

  • bushwanker 02/12/2017, 6:01 pm

    Topics that interest me;
Constructive ways to remove left thinking politicians & public servants from government.

The fight against Islam and by logical extension the fight against the globalist UN.

Solve the above and we will have nothing to worry about.

  • Lorraine 02/12/2017, 7:20 pm

always an interest in politics and sport especially the Australian Cricket team.
hate the left side of politics and Global UN crap. The Global warming scare campaign invented by the left to scare all to death so they can control idiots , that is another interest. I am so Sick of SSM totally over the left and their other way to control by making freaks out of the younger generation before they reach puberty

  • Honeybadger 03/12/2017, 4:20 pm

I love watching the Milos, Andrew Bolts, Piers Ackerman, Rowan Dean, Ross Cameron, Mark Latham and sometimes Paul Murray, shoot down in flames with facts and logic, all the promoters of SSM, islam, man made climate change, ‘safe’ schools, the belittlers of Western culture, third world bludgers and so on, the list is long, Hope one day facts and logic might come back into fashion!

  • LennardC 05/12/2017, 8:29 am

    Hi Editor,

One thing I would love to see would be a summary of the day’s news headlines on a sidebar (minus the fake news and fluff). It would save me having to go to MSM sites like bigpond for an overview. While the articles on MM are good, they are in specific areas and don’t give me a picture of the rest of the world.

  • Ibbit 05/12/2017, 8:42 am

Immigration and a Population Policy. The one should be cut until infrastructure, the economy and jobs catch up. The other should be instigated in order that Australians know where our politicians plan to take us.

  • TommyGun 05/12/2017, 9:02 am

    Immigration and population policy.
Politicians are shit-scared of the likes of Dick Smith because he is against unfettered immigration, which is a milksop to the big $$$ donors of both main parties.
The whole idea of a “Big Australia” no doubt came from someone with a small mind and empty pockets.

    • Ibbit 22/12/2017, 10:05 am

You are very probably correct. However, the need for a population policy and the speaking for it has been around for a very long time with few politician or others taking any notice with the notable exception of Kelvin Thompson, retired Labor politician who was strong for a policy and wrote much accordingly over very many years.
Our current PM adds insult to injury by being a supporter of the more the merrier outlook, never giving a thought for existing Australians and their welfare.
It’s past time that citizens began to put pressure on the PM, who unlike Tony Abbott, pretends he doesn’t know what such a thing is whereas Tony has said we need to cut back immigration from the nearly 250,00 imported this year.

  • sheldon 05/12/2017, 9:21 am

1 for President Donald Trump if I read correctly the USA muslim travel ban is now law.. We really need to borrow Donald Trump on weekends

    • Robert TG 11/12/2017, 11:11 pm

I enjoy reading about Trump and all the victories he has over the left.

  • Margaret 09/12/2017, 8:57 am

This is a very good article in Gateway Pundit. The article explains what has been going on in USA politics for some time…corruption by Deep State

  • Aktosplatz 09/12/2017, 12:34 pm

This one will only make sense to those who have read ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ by John Bunyan.

I have changed the names of my MSM Bookmarks and I have found that the Pilgrim’s Progress Names are much more suitable.

For example, Brisbane Times = “Vanity Fair Times”, and Sydney Morning Herald = “Slough of Despond News.”

The result is good because now all of the sloppy negative MSM News fits their new allocated Bookmarks ( perfectly).

  • Tadpole 10/12/2017, 2:59 pm

A friend in Melbourne sent me a copy of a brochure received this week from a company working with the Vic government. This is what the de-industrialising socialists most fear this summer – massive power outages on the East coast potentially awakening millions to the con of a system running on sunbeams, batteries and windpuffs.
“Your household is invited to participate in a trial aimed to test news ways to reduce the pressure on your local energy network during high demand periods this summer.”
Will we have enlightening blackouts this summer? I will be voting with my switch-flicking finger.

  • Albert 12/12/2017, 9:40 am

What is it with the fools that want us to switch off during period of peak useage to prove how effective their pathetic renewable power toys are?

    • fred 16/12/2017, 4:50 pm

I will never roast in my home

  • fred 16/12/2017, 4:45 pm

Could someone please explain to me how someone has pushed himself on to Deniability Pension and has ended up with 100,000 Dollars and the partner is trying to get the same Pension. So how is ripping off the government when he is capable of being on a Motor bike running around 98,000 Acres loading Goats and getting a cut from his father and mother who are on the disable pension and have been for over 60 Years.

  • Graham Richards 16/12/2017, 5:20 pm

Does anyone out there have a copy of a book titled “United Nations, The Fearful Master”? Or perhaps have seen a copy or know where to source one.
    I can’t remember the author’s name either.
It’s an expose of the UN written 40 or more years ago. Would love to re read it to compare the authors knowledge of that organisation then, to what it has become. He was critical of the UN then so what would his opinion be now, if he’s still alive!
Maybe the MM editor would be able to help or point me in the right direction for searching!

    • MM Ed 16/12/2017, 8:31 pm

Yeah, all very good GR. A small secret though. MM Chief editor is always deeply immersed in large legal cases combing thousands of pages of legal subterfuge in search of an error and thus a case victory over the dishonest lawyers we are burdened with. Editor subordinate is deeply involved with collecting daily stories to raise the hackles of our readers. The information you seek predates Google and other relevant sources. MM is delighted if some or any of its eclectic family that we love so dearly has time and resources to track down such info, we would be truly grateful. These days with litigation being foremost, we would appreciate any help we can get.

      • Graham Richards 17/12/2017, 6:52 am

Thanks for that ED. You sound as though the Xmas break is really needed. Have Merry one & please carry on the good work you guys do. Many of us could not survive without knowing there’s some one out there fighting for us.

    • Biking Voter 18/12/2017, 12:22 pm

Perhaps this one … The Fearful Master: A Second Look at the United Nations
      by G. Edward Griffin.

      Now read it here ..

      Download it here …

Just reading Quandrant and there was a very interesting thing with Paul Keating.

  • Greg 19/12/2017, 5:51 pm

Most things, but in particular immigration, people smuggling and multiculturalism.

  • Pensioner Pete 21/12/2017, 7:31 am

One of many topics come to mind, that is ‘Earth Hour’, the hour where ill informed idiots all over the world turn their power/lights off for an hour in an effort to confirm their collective stupidity. For me, this ‘Earth Hour’ is one of pure delight, in that my actions by turning on everything I have in the house, to the max for this hour, thoroughly pisses off any greenie types who know full well what I think of this idiocy, they have finally given up on berating me over my ‘sin’. My action is well and truly worth the sudden spike in my electricity bill for the hour.

  • Don 21/12/2017, 8:44 am

Interesting – barely a mention of the Wentworth Waffler as to interest areas of readers, yet day in day, there he is in two or more articles – words to convince the convinced seems to be a waste of effort and space.

    • MM Ed 21/12/2017, 9:21 am

Don, we agree that the mention of Turnbull is a turnoff. Unfortunately, Australian politics of late have been saturated with childish nonsense. Turnbull recently gave a long list of his accomplishments. The creative accountancy used to make his point is dubious and MM is loathe to spread his stories. We note your displeasure for the Turnbull attack but every Turnbull article draws very high reads, but so did the video of the woman breaking wind in a restaurant. Articles about Trump read high also. If you have something you deem worthy and have checked and rechecked its validity, please forward. We can use all the help we can get. Anyway, you can have a good go at running for Turnbull during out break. Details posted tomorrow. Thanks Don.

“Victoria’s acting police chief defends toughness of his officers after they failed to make any arrests at a series of youth rampages.”
Nah not toughness! Just very selective.
“Victoria the place to be”. Where all things turn left.

  • Clarion Call 22/12/2017, 9:56 am

Is it just me, or have others noticed the aura surrounding Xmas this year has become quasi-robotic…almost like actors on a grand stage being called to action on a well-worn script by an imaginary director. Even the choir singers look bored. Someone pushes the start button early December and the ‘show’ kicks into life and everyone gets their respective cues to carry on with the ‘festive’ charade. The curtain quickly comes down on the morning of the 26th and life as we know it snaps back into plain sight. The theatre is done for another twelve months. We’ve done our duty….on with reality!

  • Biking Voter 22/12/2017, 11:44 am

I would like to see an investigation (Royal Commission if need be) into the appalling service offered by Australia Post. The amount of wrongly or misdirected mail is beyond a joke, the amount of parcel post that is supposedly irretrievably lost and unrecoverable is incompetence on a grand scale.
If they lose a parcel Australia Post will offer you the princely sum of $50 plus whatever the postage was. They accept no responsibility for their incompetence and give you the run around while they insult you with platitudes.

  • Margaret 22/12/2017, 12:46 pm

    The Storm has arrived.

President Trump has just signed an Executive Order blocking the Property of Persons involved in serious human rights abuse or Corruption.

This could include the assets of the Rothchilds, Soros, The Clinton Foundation, McCain Foundation…

  • Graham Richards 22/12/2017, 10:02 pm

The time has arrived for Donald Trump to give the UN six months notice to vacate their address in New York & piss off to wherever or what ever backwater wants to accomodate them. Dsuggest hey make sure rentals are not to high as Trumps America will not be funding them!
    Go The Donald!

  • Rubyred 23/12/2017, 10:50 am
